About Worthy of Wheels
Reliable transportation isn’t a luxury — it’s a lifeline. For many individuals and families, a working vehicle is the difference between keeping a job, getting children to school, attending medical appointments, and maintaining independence.
Worthy of Wheels exists to remove transportation barriers for people facing financial hardship by helping them repair, restore, or in limited circumstances, assist with replacement transportation for unsafe or unreliable vehicles. We believe that when people have dependable transportation, they have a real chance to move forward.
Assistance is limited, not guaranteed, and provided in accordance with eligibility requirements and available resources.
We work alongside partner churches, organizations, volunteers, and repair facilities to evaluate needs and provide assistance in the most responsible and effective way possible. Every situation is different, and our approach is designed to remain flexible so we can respond with solutions that make sense — whether that means repairing a vehicle, addressing safety issues, or, in some cases, assisting with replacement transportation.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple:
To help individuals and families maintain safe, reliable transportation so they can pursue stability, opportunity, and self-sufficiency.
Transportation is foundational. When it fails, everything else becomes harder. Worthy of Wheels steps in where help is needed most.
