Transform Turn-Away Jobs Into Community Impact

Every shop sees it:
Customers who need repairs — but simply can’t afford them.

Worthy of Wheels bridges that gap.

By partnering with Worthy of Wheels, your shop can help customers stay on the road while still getting the work done, strengthening your business and your community at the same time.

Why Partner With Worthy of Wheels?

Help Customers You’d Otherwise Have to Turn Away

When a customer can’t afford a critical repair, the job usually walks out the door.

With Worthy of Wheels:

  • That customer may qualify for assistance

  • The repair can still move forward

  • Your shop gets paid (in full or in part)

  • The customer stays mobile, employed, and safe

Flexible Ways to Participate

Partner shops can choose how they help on each job:

  • Donate parts (receipted charitable contribution)

  • Make a cash donation (receipted charitable contribution)

  • Discount or donate labor (community support / goodwill)

Any one of these allows you to participate — no single method is required.

We clearly explain documentation and tax treatment up front so there are no surprises.

Charitable Donation Receipts (When Eligible)

For qualifying contributions:

  • Worthy of Wheels issues IRS-compliant donation receipts for:

    • donated parts

    • cash donations

  • Shops determine the value with their tax professional

(Discounted labor is not receipted under IRS rules, but remains a valuable contribution.)

Public Recognition & Promotion

We actively promote and recognize our partner shops.

Partner benefits may include:

  • Listing as an Official Partner Repair Shop on our website

  • Social media recognition and community shout-outs

  • Inclusion in newsletters and outreach materials

  • Positive local visibility as a community-minded business

We also allow mutual use of logos and names to highlight the partnership.

Referral Opportunity

Partner shops may refer customers to Worthy of Wheels when cost is the only barrier to repair.

All referred individuals must complete the Worthy of Wheels application process.

If approved:

  • The repair may still be completed

  • The customer remains your customer

  • You keep work in-house that might otherwise be lost

There is no obligation, exclusivity, or guarantee — just a way to help when help is needed.

Real Community Impact

Your participation helps people:

  • get to work

  • access medical care

  • take care of their families

  • stay employed and independent

That’s not just charity — that’s local economic stability.

What We Don’t Do

To keep this program fair and compliant:

  • No kickbacks

  • No guaranteed jobs

  • No pressure to donate more than you’re comfortable with

  • No misrepresentation of tax benefits

Just honest partnership.

Who This Is For

Worthy of Wheels partners with:

  • Independent repair shops

  • Specialty shops

  • Dealership service departments

  • Fleet and diesel shops

  • Any shop that believes reliable transportation matters
